These popular emulsions look and act much like a conventional petrochemical emulsion and are just as easy to use, but do not have the normal characteristic strong lingering smell of chemicals. They are both “brilliant white” colour, although the Volvox is slightly brighter than the linseed oil based Maril. If desired, pigments may be added to either emulsion.
