Flax 100 can be used in walls, roofs, floors and ceilings for both domestic and commercial buildings. It has good thermal properties and includes no synthetic material. Available to special order only |
Flax 100 is capable of stabilising the indoor climate, because it has the ability to absorb large amounts of moisture. This prevents deterioration of the building fabric, and reduces the risk of timber rotting or being attacked by mould or fungus.
Flax insulation allows more awkward insulation problems to be resolved very quickly. The fibres are bound together with potato starch making the product completely natural. Borax is added for fire protection and insect resistance.
